Wedding Fever!

Congratulations to my sister-in-law Danielle and her wonderful hubby Jacob. They got engaged back in March and there day finally came on Friday. These two are great for each other and they will have a good time being married! They got married on Friday morning in the Oquirrh Mountain temple and then we went to Gardner Village for a luncheon. (So far the same as our wedding day 3 years ago!) It was a HOT day. I believe it got over 100 that day and taking pictures out front of the temple was brutal. The Nay boys sweat like crazy on their face and the drops wouldn't stop running down there faces. They had a great sealer that gave some great advice. Danielle basically jumped the altar to kiss Jacob before the sealer said to do so -  so funny! They didn't do their reception until Saturday night so the rest of the day Friday we took a nap then went to Taylorsville Dayzz for Jonathan's homework assignment to listen to music and analyze it. It was nice and peaceful. We sat in the shade and listened to music and then watched a good firework show. The next day we got to the reception early for pictures and such. There was Brick Oven pizza, brownies and rootbeer for dinner and after the line there was two hours of dancing. The first 30 minutes I was dancing like crazy and then I got so tired! Danielle danced her little heart out all night. The energy of those young ones! ;) There was so much food left over we got stuck with a full pizza, tray of brownies and 10 liters of rootbeer!! So much food and Jonathan is already calling his parents asking them to bring down more rootbeer because he is worried we are going to run out! He is nuts! Anyways, the night was a lot of fun and our good friends Cole and Cheyanne drove down from Logan and Greg and Tyler came up from Provo so we were able to catch up a little bit. We sure love them!! We slept for almost 11 hours after we got home last night and I am ready to do it again!
I wish I would have gotten pictures of Jonathan and I at the reception in our Bridal party outfits but hopefully the photographer got good ones. Here are a few others:

It's been a while!

I have been trying for months here and there when I had time to try and log on to my blog. It kept saying that I had the wrong password and username. but I finally got it figured out!! I honestly don't know where to start because I haven't posted since Thanksgiving. Hopefully I can just find some good stories and pictures to share and then I can be caught up!

Jonathan and I had a great Christmas and New Year's Eve. It is always a busy time with us because it is Jonathan's birthday on NYE and adds a lot on top of everything that goes on anyway. It was really fun and he turned 24! Since next year he turns 25 and that is the age that he says he will feel old, I have been trying to think of something now for his birthday so he can have the best time.

Jonathan didn't end up doing school this semester. He started out but by the time he got to see his advisor it was past the day of add classes date. It turns out that he never declared his major so if he did it now it would had a lot of time to just getting his associates. So we got some things figured out and he will graduate at the end of summer! It will be rough because he works a lot, he is going full time for the first time and it is a short semester. But he can do it! His work schedule changed right before the semester to 4 days a week. Now he has 2 whole days he can just work on school. It was definitely a blessing. We are ready to move on to the next schooling stage. This semester without school has been so weird but I think it came at the right time as everything else always does for us. It has been fun!

Since the last time I blogged we found out that my sister-in-law Sarah and Kira are pregnant. Kira is due in September with a baby girl and Sarah is due in October but she isn't finding out what she is having. The same day that I found out Kira was pregnant I found out my childhood best friend and Maid of Honor was pregnant. I am so excited for all of them. I just can't stop thinking about how much all of us have grown up and entering very fun stages in our lives.

Both mine and Jonathan's work has picked up. I should be audited anytime now. No one really understands the extent or craziness that goes into preparing and pulling of a perfect audit. It's a surprise so we never know when they will show up but I wish it was over already!

It is now summer and even though Jonathan will be busy with school I want to try and get in a few vacations. Just small ones so we can save money still. We will definitely get in lots of hiking and camping as usual!
